Improve stability and relieve pressure on ball of foot Nov 26, 2010
By hmewrdbd I must say I am pleasantly surprised. I was skeptical but desperate. I somehow injured the ball of my foot--doctor said it was sesamoiditis. I have had pain and abnormal gait for 6 months. I tried everything from acupuncture and natural anti-inflammatory injections, to chiropractic adjustments, to finally cortisone. Nothing helped beyond momentary relief. My knees began to hurt because of walking favoring my feet all the time. I tried all kinds of insoles and finally saw these advertised on TV. I decided to give them a try. My stance is greatly improved; I feel much more stable on my feet while wearing them. They do take some time to get used to, but not nearly as much as I anticipated. I have medium arches and use the lowest insert. I am 67 and female, so the insoles don't fit all shoes, but having entered the "season of sensible shoes," I use them in all shoes they will fit. I also added moleskin padding to take pressure off the sore spots, and in combination with the insoles, I have finally been able to resume normal activity.

Great for Plantar Fasciitis! Oct 29, 2010

If you have plantar fasciitis, try these! I was amazed. I wore them just an hour or two the first couple of days, and yes, there is definitely a break in period. They would feel great, then kind of start hurting, but the packaging tells you to expect this. I was eventually able to wear them for longer hours, and now when I wear them, I do so for 4-6 hours. After the first week of off and on wearing them (you can't wear them in certain shoes), I wasn't having the pain and difficulty walking in the morning due to the plantar fasciitis. I couldn't believe it! I had tried cortisone shots in my heels, and other orthotics that wear way more expensive and nothing helped as quickly as these. I'm not sure how long these will last, but at $20 bucks, its a lot cheaper than my doctor and the other orthotics. I don't have a lot of back pain, so not sure if it helps that or not.

Absorbs Exercise Impact Sep 17, 2010
By Chivonne L. Pogue-torrez

I have medium arches and weak knees. When I was younger, I injured my left knee playing volleyball and I had to have surgery. It was a ligament that I tore in my knee. My other knee is not so well either. Being a mother made me lose a lot of my muscle mass that I accumulated playing sports when I was younger. So my weak knees became weaker. Walking down stairs and squating hurt my knees. Recently, I got in the routine of exercising nearly everyday so I am slowly trying to get back my muscle mass and strength. I am very cautious when I do exercise. The exercises I do requires me to jump rope, do kicks, balance, and do rigorous cardio activity. I heard of this product many times on T.V. I bought this product on Amazon to try it because I heard it will help absorb impact from walking and running. I popped in the medium arch inserts and it felt hard in my shoes. Of course like any shoe insert, it takes time to break them in. The first time I used them while I exercised, I felt the difference. When I jump roped, it felt like there were springs on the bottoms of my feet and no pain in my knees. I was able to jump higher and faster and get more out of my workout. I definitely feel balanced and have no worry about injuring myself from instability. It makes me feel more coordinated and confident. I have a set of cowgirl boots that gave me shin splints from standing for 2 hours straight. When I popped those in the boots, I felt pain relief in my shins. I haven't felt pain in my arches. These are a great buy if you suffer from high impact.

Took some getting use to but worth it. Sep 26, 2011
By Fawn A. Fontenot I considered getting these because of frequent back pain, foot pain, poor posture and walking knee knocked. Years ago was told I have Plantar Fasceaitis. The first week I used these it made my feet a little soar and hurt my back but now when I wear them I stand straight and dont walk knee knocked. I think these made my leg and butt muscles stronger as well as my side abdomen and lower back but I recommend weaning yourself onto these by using some sort of arch support first. My back pain isnt completely better for other reasons but most certainly improved the pain, posture and corrected how my feet and knees stand. I look forward to wearing these now.

I suffer from plantar fasciitis and can sometimes not walk without much pain. I have had injections and orthodics (podiatrist made). I started a new routine of walking 10,000 steps or more a day. I hadn't worn the orthodics for a while as I buy good shoes and haven't had the problem for a few years. This new regimen was over the top and came back in spades. After a week I had to stop. Went to get those old orthodics and my wife threw them away (there went 300 dollars). Well tried these and....
Got them and put them in my shoes.
OUCH!
Felt like someone put a big rock in my shoe. As per instructions I had used the mildest insert. The directions said to wear them for an hour. I COULDN'T. So, I put an insert that the directions said were for massaging the feet (has little nubs on it) but was much more flexible. I had to put them under the foot bed as I hated the feeling of the nubs but I could wear them for a while. Two hours the first day, four the second and after about a week I was able to wear them to work. Another week went by and I started my walks in them. The pain slowly went away and I am able to wear them all day every day. I don't take them out. I have had days of 25,000 steps and though my feet got NORMAL sore the plantar fasciitis hasn't come back. I have had them a few months now and just got back from taking my grandkids to Disneyland for three days. My pedometer said I walked over 20,000 steps each day. That's over 9 miles a day.
Oh, I almost forgot. I never have used the normal inserts just that thin one for massaging the feet. Maybe you will be different.
THEY DO WORK.
So...
PROS- They work for me and are well made except the inserts sometimes pop out. I glued them in.
CONS- Be prepared. They are aggressive and HURT at first. Give them time.
