Surprisingly enough... It works! Aug 18, 2010
So, I was very skeptical, but after the first two weeks of use, I am seeing a difference in muscle tone. The system is well-built, and the contoller looks/feels of a high quality. Charging it can be a bit strange. It likes a full charge of a few hours. Nothing less; nothing more. Once charged, it'll go about three sessions. If you try to recharge after one session, you'll get an error on the charger. No biggie. The belt is comfortable to wear and simple to operate. I've already recommended one to a friend.

well i ordered this Slendertone Ab belt because my mom had the original ab Slendertone of when they first came out and she has to put batteries in it all the time so when i saw the one with the rechargeable batteries i was so excited,so i ordered it.the mistake I made was not ordering it from Amazon itself because I know they would stand behind their product 100% ,but it came from this other place and the product said new but i know they lied. My Slendertone does not work nothing the one my mom has, her's is stronger and more powerful,where mine is weak and i hv to put the tensity on 100 to feel what she feels on 60.Now i will have to probably order another one because of this and i will be out of $100.So the complaint here is to the one's i ordered this from,this product was not in good shape and is used and you lied on your Ad and I am very unhappy.

There seems to be duplicate (fake?!) reviews for this product Jul 28, 2010
I've been reading through the reviews for this product - and have noticed one instance of the same review (word for word verbatim) submitted by "different" reviewers with high but different scores (one a five star one a four star) - I think this product has been compromised by "Fake" reviews -- I reported the reviews to Amazon as inappropriate. Buyer Beware!

Do NOT buy, broke after the first use Jul 27, 2010
Bought this along with two pad replacements. I was only able to use it once, I could feel the current through all pads, middle, left and right. After one use only the right pad would work. I have re-charged it, changed pads and cleaned the contacts with no joy. The only other time I lost money that fast was at a casino in Las Vegas. It's your call...

I have to say my ab does show definition after 2+ months of using it. Since i got it, i stop doing ab exercise at the gym. I put it on in the morning while i'm doing makeup, 5 times a week and 30 min each time. Well, if you are hoping to lose weight and slim your mid-section without dieting and exercising, this won't work for sure. It works great for those who go to the gym regularly but have a hard time to achieve the definition in the ab. I have to say people can't tell that i just had a baby 9 months ago looking at my ab. No problem with the connector either.
