A nail clipper that helps many regain one area of independence and much more! May 31, 2010

I have personally bought over a dozen of these to give to some of the ladies at the Assisted Living home where they reside. Until I discovered this thoughtful invention, some were forced to pay a nail technician $25-$40 a month just to cut their nails. Not only has it saved them money, they experience a few more things they might have preferred to do, it has given them a sense of pride in reclaiming an area of care they had not been able to handle. The construction of the item is solid and while many have reviewed that the magnifying attachment gets in their way, if you approach it and work from several angles, you can find that it works successfully. Some of the features I like best for both safety and cleanliness are as follows: it has a wide, non-slip grip for comfort and better control, a wide opening for thick, hard nails (which many of the ladies have), it has an easy empty nail clip catcher so no one will have to worry about flying nail "scraps", a magnifier that provides 3x magnification, and if you didn't think there could be any thing else packed in this amazing product, they provided a super bright LED light so you can really see what you are doing. Everyone I have given one to loves it and I think it is one of those products someone put a lot of thought, creativity and practicality together to make a nice product that is sure to benefit many people of all ages

Easy To Use Jan 02, 2010

These clippers are easy to use. The magnifying glass and light illuminate your nail while bringing it into better view. If the magnifier is cumbersome for you, simply move it out of the way.

Sure Clip Sure Clip World's Most Advanced Nail Clipper Jul 17, 2011
By Mike Welsh I bought these at a local discount store. The magnifying glass and light just sort of got in the way for me, but I found these clippers much easier to hold onto and use. I ripped the magnifying glass and light off, and they work great!

Not as good as advertised. Feb 07, 2010
By Thomas A. Peterson The magnifying glass seems like a good idea, but getting it to an angle that allows the user to see the target is very difficult. Probably not worth the money. Buy when they go to $5!

Sometimes I need to stay away from those ASOTV products Jan 22, 2010
By M. P. I purchased this yesterday and is still wondering why I always fall for those 'As Seen On TV' products. I fall for them because they make it look so appealing on TV.
The pro: The light is very resourceful
The cons: You can't see what you're cutting when you clip your toes. At least I couldn't because the magnifier sticks out further than the clippers.
Because the magnifier isn't even with the clippers I ended up cutting the middle of my toe nail instead of the edge.
The nail catcher doesn't catch your toe nails.
I purchased this because I would like to see what I'm cutting because I'm not a flexible person. This will work on fingernails because your fingers are longer than your toes.
I can't take this back because I used it. I'll just have to use it for a flashlight instead.
