 My dog ate my couch--literally. Mar 04, 2010

My husband & I had just purchased a new leather couch when our dog decided he didn't like it. Our dog chewed 5 holes from the size of a dime to about 3" in diameter. We were obviously devastated--the couch wasn't even a month old. So we searched the internet and found the Liquid Leather & Vinyl Repair kit. We were both pretty hesitant, but to our amazement it worked wonderfully. The only thing we noticed is that the dowel didn't get hot enough. So we used our iron without the dowel. It gets VERY hot...so if you do the same use a blanket where you aren't filling a hole. Overall we are very pleased with this kit. You can't even see where the holes were on the couch!

This actually worked on red vinyl. Not sure how you would mix the colors if you need a custom color

The seller is very nice, however, this product does not work at all.
I put these on my leather-et boots and it just flaked in a matter of days.

the product i bought is not a toy it is a vinyl repair kit, I have not used it but it should work if the dog messes up the chair

First of all, why is Amazon treating this review as if it were for a toy? It doesn't make sense.
That being said, this kit is a waste of time and money. Why in the world would they not have a pre-mixed tan/beige color? It is the third most popular color of vinyl/leather interiors. Instead, I have to spend 1/2 hour trying to match my color with white, yellow , brown, yellow, black, yellow, white- you get the idea. Then the color looks much different in the mixing cup than actually on the repair. In my opinion, the kit should have a premixed black, gray, and tan, and then mix-ins for more custom colors. I never even fot to the point where I would use the texture cloths and the heat for the complete repair. Very disappointed.
