These are postal strings in wax. They do not bend easily, they do not stick together well and once bent you can feel how cheap they are. Micro candles is what they really are. I should have known better from a TV promoted "wonder". They arrive in a box so small for your 20$ that you feel taken before you even open the box.
NOT ONLY junky
but when I ordered them the website mislead me to order and additional 750 more for 5 $ when it meant 5$ MORE THAN the 500 peice set "24.99" and then didn't have a confirmation page it just added the MORE and sent the order. I emailed to reduce the order but they responded it had already been "sent", which I found was untrue by the post date on the box.
Someone is making a mint on this garbage. Tell your kids they are toxic or anything to focus them elsewhere.
Ive been violated, I should have know better. Now you do.
[Amazon had nothing to do with my problems with bendaroos. Amazon remains my favored place for internet purchases]

This product doesn't do what the commercial shows. Not even close. They don't even stick together. You can't make anything that they show on TV, it falls apart. They come in brown packaging, the company is too cheap to even make packaging for it. They don't allow returns. The ordering system took me 20 mins because they offer you so many other products and upgrades. I called to buy the $19.99 pack and there was a message asking if you want the family pack for $24.99, so I thought it was an upgrade. So, I got 2 packs and they charged me twice for the $7.99 shipping which is WAY too high. So, $60.00 for a product that is horrible, can't be returned and I only intended to spend $25 + shipping. I have tried to call to talk to someone and you can't get through to anyone, ever. This company should be investigated by the better business bureau. HORRIBLE!

The company name for Bendaroos is: 3PL Worldwide Inc. They have a Better Business Report of "F". You can check it out on the BBB website. I hope this helps.

Bendaroos are a great idea poorly implemented by a deceitful company. I would strongly suggest Wikki Stix (available directly through amazon.com or several arts & crafts stores. Wikki Stix work well, and provide hours of entertainment for my 4 and 6 year old daughters. I highly recommend Wikki Stix as a replacement for Bendaroos - your children will not be disappointed!

My daughter had to have the Bendaroos for Christmas!! It was her MUST HAVE gift for the year. We have found these so frustrating. The biggest problem we have with them is that they do not stick together or stick to walls, paper, etc. like it is advertised to do. I watched the commercial today and BOY DO THEY DO A GOOD JOB OF SELLING THESE, the problem is that they make it look so easy, when it's really just very frustrating to work with. I tried to make a flower and could not get the petals to stick together no matter what I tried, bending, pressing it together, etc. The would just fall apart. Try making a lollipop spiral, the spiral won't even stay tight. I started to think that maybe I got a bad batch . . . but after reading these reviews I'm starting to think that they are all bad batches. Bottom line - we bought them directly from their website - they tried telling me standard delivery was 2 to 6 weeks and couldn't be guaranteed in time for Christmas. For $29.95 more I could get express shipping. I told them if they couldn't get them to me for Christmas then to cancel my order because I wasn't going to pay for express shipping 3 weeks before Christmas. Needless to say they didn't cancel the order and it arrived just days later. Now I'm wishing they had just cancelled the order - these are total garbage and don't live up to what their advertisement claims they can do. And while there may be NO STAINS, there is certainly wax residue left behind on most everything you try to stick it to.
