a little big for my hands but otherwise works well. the gloves do a good job and i will replace, if necessary, with the same item.

Apart from the fact that the glove may take a half second more to put on than a traditional oven mitt, there's just no comparison between the two. The heat resistance of the glove is more than adequate, which allows me to hold a 475 degree pan for about 5 seconds. Plenty of time to set it down on the range top or other heat-safe area.
Of course, the big selling point is that you have much more dexterity with the glove. For example, I like the fact that I can remove my pizza stone from the oven, then slice fresh baked bread, holding the super hot loaf down with the gloved hand.
Not only do I recommend this product, I highly suggest buying two.
